I'm Alex. I am a mess.

For a lot of my life I have been hyperfixated on baseball, particularly it's history, fashion, design, simulation games, and what sport means culturally.

I have a PhD in English, specializing in literature, writing studies, and online learning. I've spent most of my adult life working in education, while freelancing as a journalist, copyeditor, and A/V editor.

Also, I'm trans, I live in Pennsylvania, and I have two cats with my partner.
